Ooh comments are bundle of fun. Its sad but I'm just not shocked anymore. Maybe because when I was in sixth grade there were 3 seventh graders pregnant at my school? The story doesn't give much detail, but I'm glad the mother and child are ok.

When I was 10, I was still playing with dolls and wasn't even sure how kissing worked. I can't imagine giving birth... or any of the things that lead up to it.
(And the father is also her age? So weird.)

I'm not sure it said the father was the same age. It said he was a minor, but I am not sure what that means in Spain.

There's a weird quote in the paper here where hospital staff allege the girl's mother told them that giving birth at that age was common in Romanian. And that the girl lived with the boyfriend there too.

Such a sad story. I once took care of a baby whose mother was 9. She had been abused by her stepfather. The mother had no concept whatsoever of what having a child was about. It was awful.
