Anyone know of a natural safe way to get rid of the tiny grey moths that have invaded my kitchen? They're in everything and I'm throwing out too much food. I know they're just bugs, but I can't bring myself to eat the food once they've been touched by any bug. I know, bugs are everywhere, but I'm a clean freak and it squicks me out when I see a bug or maggot inside a box of unopened food. Gag. They're also the ones that eat my clothes. Is it just me or have the bugs been particularly invasive this year?

My parents had a problem like this. Are they getting into grain foods? For them, the offending moths likely came in on some rice noodles. I can't recall how they got rid of them, but I think storing any grain products either double bagged or in the fridge or freezer helped to prevent any further infestation. They were also getting into the birdseed for their pet birds, so they had to figure out a better storage container for that.

Get some pantry moth traps. I know I had an issue with them once because some eggs were in my seeds I had purchased at a grocery store. Unfortunately, you will have to throw things away if you want to completely rid yourself of them. The traps use pheromones, and I am not sure of the source. Do we have a vegan bug expert in the PPK?
