I'm going to get round to labelling them soon. We missed out on a few things on my last day because I somehow put my back out. We intended going into the bell and doing all that stuff in more detail but it was packed and then I thought how much better off things were when you were all just our colony so I didn't bother :). The other food places were Khyber Pass which I loved, that's the 2 soups and sandwiches, and Mi Lah, that's the tofu benedict and the burrito.
You also see me stalking the Horizons owners and Urban Vegan. I somehow didn't get a pic of me stalking Bjork.

If you really like swimming in the fountain, then go on the last day of school! There is a girls Catholic school somewhere near by and they make a ritual of heading to the fountain on the last day and all dive in, uniforms and all. It's a sight to see. And it drives me MAD!

Does anyone have recommendation for professional movers? I need to hire professional movers. Anyone have a good experience to share? I've never used them before but I need to.

No, sorry. I wish I had used them last time I moved. You could use Angies List.
Does this mean you found a place?

Well I'm thisclose to having something but the guy might be a total flake. But I'd still need movers even if I was going to storage or parents. Angies list great idea! I've never used.

Has anyone been to Mi Lah for brunch recently? I wonder if it has improved. Did people fault the food or just the terrible service? I never went to brunch and I think it might finally have to happen this weekend.

Mi Lah is the worst for brunch. I honestly don't get how they are still in business, their food is no bueno. I think the lunch is decent, but I would never pay $20 for their dinner entrees - that's what horizons/vedge is for. If you do go to lunch, do NOT get the omellete, I will eat almost anything vegan, but that was the saddest, most grossest pile of shiitake a restaurant has ever made me pay for. My bf, on the other hand loooved the seitan chkn and waffles.

xstartxtodayx wrote: do NOT get the omellete This. I was super excited about it and it ended up seriously tasting pancake-like. Check out Vegan Dad's recent review of their brunch- if I remember correctly, he didn't have terrible things to say, so maybe order what he ordered?

Thanks for the advice guys! hopefully I won't have to go there then. I love it for lunch and my dinners there have actually been great, so I could do without a bad brunch.
