I'm big on smoothies in the morning, but haven't been getting onto the green smoothies as much as I should. Anyone got any favourite yummy green smoothie recipes to share? mmmm green

I really like the combination of juiced spinach, apple, celery, lime and ginger, thrown in a blender with some pure hemp powder and 1/4 Florida avocado.

well, baby spinach and a banana is a favorite. but since I moved to Boston I've found frozen kale a lot more easily, and I'm lazy, so lately I fill half my container (I have a Tribest personal smoothie maker) with frozen kale and a bit of water, and blend that first until smooth, then add a banana, frozen strawberries, and ground flax. The key with kale is to get it all blended smoothly, whether fresh or frozen, so it's good to do it first before adding anything else.

Blueberries, mango, and spinach. Lately, though, it's been apple, banana, and spinach.
I used to be into kale, but spinach is just so much sweeter.

I like to fill the blender with kale. Then push it down so you can add 1 cup of frozen blueberries and a ripe banana. I add about 2 cups of water and blend. Sometimes I add a little flax seed at the end.

My jam is some frozen strawberries and blueberries, a banana, some juice, 2 tbsp hemp seeds, and a whole bunch of spinach. I was never into smoothies for breakfast, but now, these, I love 'em!

I need to figure out how to cover up the taste of spirulina in smoothies. It makes them pretty unpleasant. Maybe I'll just nix it from now on. ...though, I did just buy a $20 bottle of spirulina. -_-

I used to do 2 cups of baby spinach, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, oj and ground flax. Unfortunately my blender doesn't handle greens very well anymore and having little shreds of spinach kind of ruins the smoothie for me, so it's been a while.

My favorite lately is grapes & greens. So good! Doesn't need any extra liquid, just add each to taste.

Oh, pineapple! Super sweet and juicy - that would probably make a big difference. Thanks!
