This isn't the official thread to register, just a little post to get people excited! Who's in this year? Have any big plans? Themes? Goals? Hopes? Dreams?

hELL YEAH. Time to dust off the blogspot I got a few months ago and never started using. Y'all will love my blog.

Let's see, you can aim for "healthy" because that's always admirable, "cheap" because of the current state of the economy, or "desserts" in honor of the pie book that completes the dessert trilogy being released that month. For myself, I'm thinking of soup, as I recently started to gather up more of those recipes. That covers both healthy and cheap, and still leaves room for dessert. :)

I'm so in! I don't have any big plans yet, what with applying for my dream job and everything, but hell yeah, count me in!

I'm going to do it this year! I'm excited!

I'm going to do it again! I'm living with another vegan now, so I'll have someone to share my leftovers with! My goal is to try something new at least once a week.

I vote for soup as veggiesue suggested. This would be perfect for the month of October and didn't you mention somewhere Isa that you wanted to do a soups cookbook someday (or maybe someone else just suggested it)? I want to do it this year, but will be traveling a bit during the month of October. Do we have to post every day?

I'm planning on it. This year I will succeed! I plan on doing bread posts all months. Loves me some sourdough!

I thiiiink I'll do an Austrian Vegan Cooking special this year.

Oh whoa, this is coming up. Going to have to put some thought into it, but I'd love to participate (wasn't vegan last year, found out about it when I turned vegan and turned a bit green with envy-granted I could have done my own miniversion, I guess.)

I just came up with the best idea, I have been working on this Texas cook zine fundraiser and now my mofo goal is to cook every recipe in it because they all sound so good. The theme can be Texas Forever!

Now I want to rewatch all of Friday Night Lights. Maybe that will be incorporated into my mofo.

We're gonna do it! I've wanted to do it every year but it always was so intimidating for some reason. But I'm doing it this year!

I am going to finally document every single vegan zine I have. I have more than enough for the month. Then I'm gonna archive them somewhere for all forever.

O YAY! Schnitzel and Austrian potato salad and lots of dumplings and things with pumpkin seed oil? I love Austrian food.

I haven't settled on a theme yet, but I'm so excited to hear it's in October again!

Yay mofo! I started my blog for last years mofo and posted everyday. I have been blogging ever since, so of course I'll join in this year as well. I'll have to figure out some kind of theme I guess. Swedish cooking was done by someone else very well last year, and even though I'm going to be a poor student this year, that theme doesn't sound very intriguing.

I'll do it! Don't have a plan on the theme yet. I am thinking either veganizing traditional Greek recipes or Holiday recipes.

Wow, so soon already! After managing it last year, I'm set to do it again... Even though I'll be getting married that month! (Vegan-wedding-themed entries?!)

This will be my fourth (?!) MoFo! And I think I might try a theme this year for the first time! Maybe an alphabet challenge.

Does anyone listen to "The Splendid Table"? The most recent episode had a segment on using commonly discarded veggie parts (like ginger skin, celery leaves, etc). I think my theme is going to be trying out or coming up with recipes that use veggie scraps (aside from making stock!). Yay, my first Mofo!

I might do it but I have no idea what theme to go for. I'll have to give it some thought.

I'm doing a week of veganizing dishes from chain restaurants. Hey Applebee's: I liked things stuffed, stacked, and topped too...with DAIYA!

As for the other three weeks, I'm not sure. I like surprises. I may surprise myself.

I have couple of ideas - one is similar to this from last year, when I hadn't much time to really realise it - is simply to post as many veganized traditional Polish dishes as I can and a second one is simply to cook through Polish vegan/vegetarian cookbooks. After last year's VeganMoFo I thought about starting a blog in English but in the end I gave up quite quickly. Probably this year I will post bilingual (in Polish and in English) as I have done before.

I'm gonna try it, but I've never blogged before and I may not have a kitchen, so I don't think I'll hold myself too strictly to any sort of a theme. I'll be pretty impressed with myself if I just post more than twice.
