Thank you for the review on FB, Isa! I've actually seen these in the Dutch health food stores, but have passed them over in favor of Cheezly (just 'cause it's what I know). I'll make sure to pick some No Muh up next time I'm there!

Can anyone weigh in on how it compares to US-based vegan hard cheeses? I had heard that Dr. Cow was the *best thing ever* and was pretty sad after spending $7 on 2 oz of what I thought tasted like waxy vinegar-y goo. I guess my point is I don't want to waste any more money on vegan cheese, esp if it's mail order only!

It's better than any US cheese I've had, and I think I've had them all! I had the same experience with Dr Cow and everyone has insisted that it must have gone bad, but still, I'm not going to take any more chances with it. As far as cheeses like daiya et al, they're basically velveeta compared to this cheese.

Wow, they look very much like real blocks of cheese. And all their products look great, even the cat food!

I've only had the melty one... but it genuinely tastes like a mild dairy cheese, not just cheese-esque. And I've been told that the non-melty ones are stronger, like a mature cheese. Nom.

They also have another brand called Vegourmet which is meant to be really good. But, they didn't have it whenever I went last so I can't vouch for it. Also, on the topic of the melty stuff's meltyness. It doesn't melt as such, as in it doesn't go stringy. But, it does go soft, rather than crispy like when I tried to melt sheese in the oven.

Sheese's new melty cheeses will be coming out here in Oct/Nov, I picked some up at a vegan fair & it's definitely my favourite melty cheese. I do love the Vegusto cheeses though, they're great for sandwiches & crackers. I think my favourites are the Rezent & the Dezent but I also enjoyed the Walnut.
