September meetups/potlucks/dinners

(Continuation from xwhenImether's thread about coming to school here)

So we were planning a potluck or other type of gathering for this Sunday, 9/11, or for tomorrow if that is easier for more people. Who is still available for that, and what are your activity/fooding preferences?

Also CQ has offered to have a homestyle get-together in West Norriton for next weekend. We would need cars for that.

What works for people? Details please, especially if something is going to happen tomorrow besides rain.

I can do Sat or Sun but would prefer Sun...and I can do next weekend too. Eat out or potluck, I am up for either, as long as it's easily bus-able or people are driving.

i know too much time has passed since visiting new harmony when ming starts posting on my FB wall asking me how i am. :-) i think it's been twice since the last time i've been there. hehe.

So is something happening tomorrow? Or should we plan on a CQ house meet next week? But we'd need cars. Where are the others? It's Saturday afternoon, people, you should be inside watching tennis and thus have easy access to the computer. :P

I could do a sept. 25th weekend new harmony or potluck (preferb in the city). Well, I could do anything but that's my preference hah

I am so, so broke, is the problem. I don't know, I was supposed to get a check in the mail today, so I'll probably end up getting it tomorrow- the point here is I have about four dollars to my name. So, uh, a meet-up tomorrow is out of the cards for me. I can definitely do next weekend, though! And the 25th.

Well since this started as a way for everyone to meet you I think you should have the final say. Next weekend potluck (at CQs if rides/all able to go, or in city somewhere if not) and 25th New Harmony sound like a go. Good?

I can try. Saturday is better than Sunday for me to come in. Either day is fine if you're coming here, but please just give me a couple days notice so I can make enough food ;-)

At least potluck is much cheaper than having all of us to your house! Hope you can make it. (Hope this actually happens - anyone? Bueller?)

As for Saturday- yes, yes, and YES as long as it's in the morning. I have an obligation at 12:30 and then I'm pretty much tied up for the rest of the day. I could probably push it back to two, though, if nobody else is a ridiculous morning person.

Well, I was inviting you for a potluck! So if the potluck comes to me, I don't have to pay for gas AND I don't have to worry about parking...or taking public transportation...or walking two miles on my bum foot because the bus driver passed my stop and dropped me off two miles away from where I needed to be, like the last time I tried to take public transit in Philly...
