September 10, 2011 12-5I'm surprised I haven't seen this on here already. Bethlehem is about an hour and 20 minutes north of the city. I'll be there, and I'd love to see some of you guys there! I'm really excited for this! http://bethlehemvegfest.org/

So bummed! My family is going to OCNJ that weekend and I'm joining them...I haven't been to my home (Allentown) in over 10 years...but since I'm not driving, stopping by vegfest is non-negotiable. Have fun!

Yay!! I wish I could be a volunteer (I hate not helping out at these things), but I've got friends coming from out of town to attend with me so it would be rude to desert them. Still, super exciting to get to see everyone!

The reports say there were 10,000 people there. Rock on!

I was surprised by the number of people there. I got a Buddha Bowl and a couple of Vegan Treats to bring home! Louzilla, I think I saw you there.

I saw you in line to get the buddha bowl! I got roped into helping out at that tent for an hour and treated like crepe, regardless of the fact that I don't even know wendy and thought i was going to be helping for 5-10 minutes and was deserting my friends who came in from OH. It sucked. You're lucky you got there before they ran out of everything. The rest of the festival was awesome though!! I saw bitterbelle and communistdaughter and a glimpse of biodancer, but no starrynight even though I was checking out all the purple-shirted volunteers! Then we went to Cali Burrito afterwards and the girl there said hi to me like she knew me, and I felt really bad because I didn't know who she was. Like seriously it's still bothering me. That and the fact that one of the purple-shirted volunteers at the fest looked REALLY familiar but I couldn't (and still can't) figure out why.

Boo. So glad it was a success! What was that magical kombucha starrynight? There was this guy there that brewed large batches of kombucha and sold it out of his house. He said he's trying to get it bottled, but there are a lot of hoops to jump through. It was amazing! I think it was pineapple orange ginger? Whatever it was, it was the best kombucha I've ever had! I had gotten a cup of it, and then went to go back to purchase a larger bottle, and he had sold it all!
