My mom and I bumbled around like idiots today. It took us an hour and a half and we aren't sure why. It wasn't a tough one and we had the theme figured out right away.

I am so impressed, FF! I can finish the ones through Weds, most of a Thurs, part of a Fri and Sat, and practically none of Sundays! I read all the time, I have an above-average vocabulary, and I love crosswords. They just kick my hiney.

I almost never look at the weekdays. I don't think I'd do very well on a Thursday through Saturday.

How do you do it so fast? I never do the same one as you since I'm doing the one in the Seattle Times. But still, I never finish it that fast. Who am I kidding?! I don't even do it alone, and we rarely even finish the damn thing. Sometimes we can do the entire Merl Reagle, but it usually takes at least a couple hours while eating breakfast and drinking coffee then a couple hours later over dinner and beers. At least I have something to aspire to!
