Wow, that is pretty cool! I hope it does well and then they open one in the city!

Seems weird, though, that their first expansion in the PNW would be out in the burbs. And in a shopping mall. I hope it works out though. I used to go to the Native Foods in Costa Mesa all the damn time.

It makes more sense when you look at how many Native Foods are in shopping complexes and whatnot in CA....I'm more excited for a Native Foods than a Veggie Grill, but I'm glad one of the Veggie Grills is set to open downtown, though I haven't heard where....

Bridgeport Village is like the douchiest parts of California condensed and dropped in the Oregonian suburbs. DO NOT WANT. But I am happy for you westsiders in your acquisition of another vegan option.

I am happy about Native Foods in Tigard, but happier about Veggie Grill in Beaverton. Alan, I think you are being a little too hard on us west siders. At least we have decent size gardens.

I went this weekend. Although it was crowded, service was fast and the food was pretty good, but not out-of-this-world. They grossly oversteamed the kale in my Greek gyro, and the taco meat in my husband's taco salad was fairly tasteless.

I've been a number of times now. The staff are for the most part awesome, and it's always bustling, yay! I am obsessed with the reuben, the watermelon fresca, and the pumpkin cheesecake.

I've gone there twice now... I love it! But in a slightly embarrassed way. I mean it's pretty ridiculously cheesy there! But it makes me pretty happy seeing how freaken packed it is, and with people who probably would be happy enough eating a chicken burger somewhere else if it wasn't there. I also find it hilarious that there's a store next door called 'the container store'. A store just for containers?! What!

Right, it's exactly my sentiment, as far as the atmosphere etc. The food is just ok in my opinion, little on the pricey side. Presentation is amazing though.

I think the food is actually pretty inexpensive. Have you had the size of those nachos?! Also the sweet potato fries are good. My favorite part is the lavender lemonade and watermelon fresca. Did I miss a PPK meetup?

The chicken burger was 10 bucks with no salad or fries, I think that's expensive. I also tried some Jamaican bowl that was around the same price. I will def eat there again if I happen to be down in that area.

well, Veggie Grill is gonna open downtown DOWNTOWN in April/May....pretty wild.
