Or someone should accompany me. My 2 that I MUST MUST go to are:
11/29 - Marketa Irglova (of my favorite band, The Swell Season!!!! eeee!) (Theatre of the Living Arts)
12/1 - Tori Amos eeeeeeee!!! j'adore. (Kimmel Center)
Anyone interested in coming? Or you can just list ones you want to go to. But really you should come.

My favourite band is opening for Duran Duran at Tower Theater on October 17. I can't go, because the tickets are absolutely outrageous- nearly $200 a pop!
But, uh, anyone who likes Duran Duran enough to pay that much money for a ticket should definitely go, and then cheer extra loud for Neon Trees for me.

I want to go to Tori but, $40!
I want to go to Rasputina too, but it's an age-restricted show and I don't support those.
On my list: Indigo Girls (10/11), Girlyman (11/2), Dar Williams (11/4 in Wilmington or 11/10 in Bethlehem), Mike Doughty 11/16
assuming I have an income by then and can afford this.

Yeah, I wore my Rasputina shirt to VegFest and someone mentioned they would be in Philly... but, as CQ mentioned, it's age restricted, and I'm not 21 yet!

That sucks! I thought age-restricted shows were like for under 13s or something. That is lame.
I forgot my MOST IMPORTANT one of the DECADE: Audra McDonald 10/1!!!! The most brilliant in history.

Anyone? Come with! At least to Marketa - she's an Oscar winner ! :) Also those tickets are $20 and general admission seating, so by far the cheapest I think of the things listed. Also, it's at the Theatre on South St. next to Maoz...and near Blackbird and Loving Hut and pretty much all good vegan food ...
