Working on ideas for October's "1 food 5 ways" on my blog (soy-free, gluten-free). I've got 4 ideas for cashews and am trying to decide on 1 more. One of my favorites is the Caesar dressing from Appetite for Reduction, but I'm trying to provide recipes or links to everything and that's not posted. Which would you most like to see me work on?
eta: I posted this year because this is for my mofo theme, but if a mod thinks it's better in the general kitchen forum, please move it.

i wrote this and deleted it because i don't have a specific recipe to link to (but now think i might be able to find the one i use, given some time)-- for me cashew always equals ICE CREAM! assuming, that is, you haven't chosen that already.

I voted! I like the two savory ideas, personally!

They all sound great, but right this very moment (as in, I have a bowl and chopsticks ready), I'd love some cashew stir, please!

A dish, followed by cookies for dessert?

If you are talking about the Cesar Chavez salad dressing, I've found it on the web. The blog, Your Vegan Mom has it. I know because that is where I found it. Thanks, Isa! I just don't like to ask from books that still so new.
ETA: but it is seriously my all time favorite use of cashews!

I voted for 'other', which means 'ice cream'. Or whatever you call it when made with cashew milk. (The words 'ice cream' have a specific legal meaning, but 'nondairy nutmilk frozen confection' is just clunky.)

I saw black pepper ice cream somewhere and I've been wanting to make a vegan version with cashews in the manner of Vice Cream.

However, I've only started liking black pepper within the last year or two and I think I'd have a hard time getting past it. I'm saving "ice cream" for banana week :)

Cashew chicken sounds delicious to me (possibly because I haven't had dinner) but all this talk of cashew ice cream reminded me that there's a great recipe for cashew panna cotta in Tal Ronnen's book. Highly recommended.

Sorry :( You could probably do the cashew cheese from yesterday at a lower temp for longer/or don't cook it at all and use it just as a spread. Asian dish coming up tomorrow and cookies either Wednesday or Thursday.
