i have tons of places written down for beer, lunch, and dinner but how about breakfast for vegans? im not usually a breakfast eater but since we have stuff planned to do everyday im thinking i will need sustinence more than just coffee.
any places with good food and coffee where they have soy milk or some sort of vegan coffee creamer for me?
thanks so much!

I absolutely adore Junior's, and Vita Cafe is pretty good, too. There is another thread on here that has a lot more breakfast ideas: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=7999

You don't really have to worry about them having soy for your coffee, any place that has vegan breakfast options will have that--even a lot of places that aren't vegan-friendly at all will. Though some places do have really bad coffee (like Hungry Tiger).

Sadly though most places have soy *milk* for coffee. Which almost always curdles. I have to say I would be embarrassed as a business owner to serve that.

Sadly? Thank the Lard most places do, because I love me some coffee with breakfast. I guess it would be great if all places had rice and almond milk as well for folks with soy allergies.

I mean they should serve soy creamer.

Soy creamer can be prohibitively expensive for most places to carry when compared to dairy creamer or soy milk. It'd be nice if places supplied Pacific Blenders which is formulated for coffee drinks, though. It doesn't curdle like regular ol' soy milk does.

Oh, and I love Jam (crappy coffee, though) and Junior's for breakfast. The sloppy biscuit at Vita can't be beat, either.

Oh yeah I'm aware it's more expensive. But given the other option... I mean expecting people to drink (and pay for) a curdled coffee is just crazy. I literally cannot fathom knowingly serving it to customers (I am in the customer service business, and have been in a couple food handling ones too). Yeah I'm all for them carrying a soy milk like you mentioned that wouldn't curdle, also.

I do agree with you and think it'd be nice to have the option with an upcharge or something. Really, I just drink mine black so...
