Did a trail run for my state's farm land trust. Never did a trail race before, so not only are my calves sore, but the ankle, the glutes and other muscles I don't normally use.

My legs. Again, still, whatever. Calves and hamstrings. Still stretching, but need to foam roll.

Back to Club Strength and yoga this week. My chest is killing me. Wonder how it'd look if I foam rolled the girls? (Current foam roller access limited to the gym.)
So many push ups.
I haven't decided if I'm going to go to Club Strength tomorrow or not!

Tired legs! But I stretched really well after my run this morning, and foam rolled, so I'm hoping that they'll feel better today than yesterday.

I did Legs & Back from P90X two days ago, and I actually have to hold on to something when I sit down. I can't fully straighten my legs. I really need to do some yoga. I'm starting to get into my exercise groove again, but wow.

Ballet is getting easier again, not so sore afterwards! Stupid pulled hamstring still a major hindrance to my flexibility on that side, but getting better sloooowly. Happy to be getting awesome calves again, but not so excited about middle of the night charlie horses. Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.

Stupid crossfit! Mad jump rope, pliometrics, and a 5 minute squat test = locked calves. A for effort, F for planning ahead. Ow.

I started MMA the other week, and sprawls and jujitsu are kicking my asparagus. I spent all last week not being able to lift my arms above my head... not ideal when you need to use em to block punches in Muay Thai training!

My whole body, but mainly legs, glutes, and a little bit of arms and obliques. The group exercise class is killer. Wish it were twice a week.

I want to thank this thread for introducing me to the term "foam roll", which led me to look it up, which led me to buy one. I can walk again! It's sooo painful, in the most awesome way possible. I think I'll roll tonight.
My booty is sore!! Well, glutes. I'm not sure if it's from deadlifts (which I'm still 99.9% sure I'm doing wrong... but I'm doing them with light-ish weights until I feel like I've got it down, so don't worry I'm not injuring myself!!) or lunges.
CREPE HOW I HATE LUNGES.

OK what is foam rolling and will it help my ridiculously sore legs??
I ran yesterday, the day after I did body pump for the first time in six months. I think that was dumb because my legs are so forking stiff and sore today.

I just went to my first TRX class ever. Also the first strenght training in 2 years. My god, I'm not sore yet but I had to struggle to even shampoo my hair since my arms is DEAD.

I think that was dumb because my legs are so forking stiff and sore today. your gym might have them, they're long stiff foam cylinders, usually either black or white. you can look up tons of videos online showing how to use them, I've been doing em after weight training when I'm not too lazy for a while now and makes a big difference to me, but I'd like to buy one for home use so that I can do it more often.

Cool thanks, I'll ask one of the lovely staff at my gym about it.

Oh my goddd don't you love it? I just did a little bit of TRX abs Wednesday after my group exercise class and I feel them now. baps, I have an orange one with trigger point massage things and it is KILLER owie the first (few?) times you use it because it squishes all the lactic acid around (out?) but once your body gets used to it, it really helps your muscles out and I find I'm not as sore after a workout if I use it thoroughly.
