Boyfriend has pointed out that in the casino scene, Marshall is wearing a shirt that says 'Marshall and Steph forever'. And Barney is wearing the 'duck tie' and seems to be getting some bad news over the phone.
MYSTERIES.

yeah, i think victoria was season 1 so that may be why people don't remember her. she was BY FAR ted's best girlfriend. and, i thoroughly agree that ted is the worst character on the show.

I'm starting to think that Barney's bride is going to be Robin.

Could be Nora having second doubts and does something like asking Ted to tell him its off.

Aw I don't want Barney to get left at the altar and have Robin be second choice. I want it to be Barney's decision.
I'm really curious about the Stephanie on Marshall's shirt

I had the way Victoria pronounces "Ted", so I don't like her coming back!
Oh, and I am convinced Barney is getting married to Robin!

I'm really curious about the Stephanie on Marshall's shirt Don't mind me! I'm horribly pessimistic when it comes to TV Land. I'm suspicious they're going to try to break the hearts of fans.

If Barney's bride isn't Robin, a little part of me WILL die.

Uh, has this been mentioned yet? (Definite spoiler- casting choice!) http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/09/katie_holmes_is_how_i_met_your.html
I wonder if this is going to be something significant or if it's just supposed to be kind of a fun reference from an early season. I hope it's a one episode thing.

If ^ she is more than just a Halloween gag, I'm going to seriously go to the studio where they film and barge in and SCREAM.

Apparently she is only going to be a guest star on that one episode, not a reoccurring character.
Does anyone know what episode they talk about the pumpkin girl? One of my favorite things about this show is how they keep working in the same jokes and you only notice if you saw previous episodes. I really hope this season goes back to how it used to be. I'm sad to say it, but I do think they need to wrap up the show so it can end on a good note.
Off topic, but I really loved the pilot of "Two Broke Girls" which is airing after HIMYM. Yea for some funny shows and not just trashy reality TV.

Oh, I did notice the duck tie, but not the Marshall and Steph, I think I need to rewatch. Much more enjoyable than the pile of paperwork that I should be working on

chiveggie - 2 Broke Girls was BAD but it has potential.

Hey um...as much as Robin marrying Barney would be cool, in an episode last season Bob Saget's voice tells us that Aunt Robin married that news anchor guy...also, I like Nora, she's too good for Barney and kicks asparagus at laser tag.

I really enjoyed that episode. I love how they wove the Victoria story into the greatly ridiculous Barney boob bet.

I'm fairly sure this didn't happen. Assuming the anchor you mean is Don. I just watched last season.
