I was a bit bummed by the election results too. My dad is a major conservative and constantly listens to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, etc. I sometimes overhear their propaganda when I visit his house and he's definitely been taken in by their insanity. Of course if I say anything about their views being wrong, he points out that I'm been brainwashed by the liberal propaganda. I think he sees me as a naive gullible liberal veganista (as he's constantly saying my vegan contacts are brainwashing me against such wholesome entities as Wal-Mart and the beef industry). I personally think (as previously mentioned) that Democrats are generally the lesser of two evils and anyone Sarah Palin supports is ultra-radical conservative (I think my dad likes her).

Unfortunately as easily influenced as a lot of Americans seem to be (as the previous comic and Bob Cesca's comment show), I'm not sure Obama would beat Palin in an election. After all the TEA party seems to ignore that most people's taxes are less now!

I voted before work, and then a deer ran into my car on the drive in. I knew things would not be good...

I'm just happy the Greens are keeping their ballot lines for 2012 in TX and NY.
