Example: Ted Nugent, Paula Deen, Dick Cheney, etc. You could write from their perspective with a change of heart. Imagine any of the three being moved after seeing Forks Over Knives or Food Inc. I dare someone to do this. Double Tofu Dog Dare you. Love it. I immediately thought of Sandra Lee. Would love to see someone do this as Anthony Bourdain. I think instead of doing one "main" theme, I'm going to do themed weeks, though, all my ideas really are just my answer to the question, "What are you favorite things about fall?" I have two picked out - one week of cooking with booze and one week of cooking with pumpkin with a slight overlap juxtaposing them (I have plans to make beer cookies and/or beer cake using one of the many seasonal pumpkin ales I've hoarded in my fridge). Haven't really gotten any further than that, though.

If I weren't so into True Blood, I would have done a MOFO about The Simpsons. Someone should veganize some of the stuff from that show!
There was also a short lived cartoon on Comedy Central called "Freak Show", and the grandma character was always talking about wacky desserts and comfort foods. That would be interesting.
Dishes after comedians.
The Flinstones go Vegan.
Can you tell I love tv?
Speaking of TV, how about vegan TV dinners? Like veganizing the really old skool stuff: salisbury steak, chicken n' dumplings, that crazy burn your tongue apple crisp, etc.
30 days of vegan spam?

I've decided that trying to come up with 20-31 different dishes from songs would probably destroy me, so I'm going to just do that once a week, and the rest of the week I'll do something else. So it will be:
Music Mondays - Food based on music Pantry Challenge - Meals using only things from pantry Pinterest - Cooking up some of those bookmarks Raw Recipes - Utilizing that huge stack of recipe books Veganize this - Self-explanatory! Weekends will be freeform since we're going away for two weekends
With working 45+ hours a week, this will enable me to post interesting things without losing my mind.

People who can't afford to cook a new thing every day! What are you planning to post on your in-between days?

Last year I was really busy so I just did things I love - whether it be an ingredient, a company, a kitchen gadget, a recipe, a cookbook... They're easy "filler" type posts that cost nothing and don't need much time but keep you going when you have nothing else.

After failing to find even a single winter squash at the grocer's I just listed about 30 recipes featuring winter squash (pumpkin, butternut, acorn etc) that I would love to try. Someone should do a month of squash! I'd also like to see more posts about African food. Beyond Ethiopian/Eritrean and Moroccan I really haven't tried much food from this continent. I also feel that I need to learn more about Africa in general... I can't even place most of the countries on a map! My favourite MoFo last year was the Around the World in 30 Days over at Vegan Eats & Treats because I love to see the different food traditions from all over (and the super drawings didn't hurt either). I also really like Daily Eats features ( Joanna has done this in the past) with photos of everything you eat. It's fun to see what other people eat and how others cope with nutritional balance. I get why you wouldn't want to post everything you consume on the internet, though, since it is sadly full of idiots who will comment only to say that you eat too much/too little/too unhealthily.

My finalized plans include Little Panda on the Prairie, Tasteless Tablescapes, Brown Food, and Cats are forking Great. Each day of the week will be dedicated to one of those themes and I have a few more up my sleeve.

(He's way cuter in person too) It's funny that you mention that because one of the things I plan to do during mofo I decided to change because it would be so much cuter in small form!
