Has anybody tried baking from Allergen-Free Baker's Handbook by Cybele Pascal or Allergy-Free Desserts: Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Egg-free,Soy-free and Nut-free Delights by Elizabeth Gordon?
http://www.amazon.com/Allergen-Free-Bak ... 066&sr=8-2http://www.amazon.com/Allergy-Free-Dess ... 066&sr=8-4i'm finding that more and more of my friends have allergies or intolerances so when i go to potlucks i want to make something that everybody can enjoy. plus, i found that i have mild intolerance to gluten and wheat so this is really a win win situation.
i thumbed through both books in the bookstore and both appear to be vegan as well (WIN!) but i'm total noob when it comes to baking gf/wf. are these books worth it? am i heading in the right direction? recommendations? help!
*mods, i was going to post this in the cookbook room but i'm looking for desserts that are gf/wf and would rather not have it overlooked
