I have no idea about actual days I just thought you had the Wednesday night thing and then had to jet off to another signing the next morning. I'm sure some place will offer a great brunch on a weekday!

I think we are going to Spring and Vine on Saturday. But Im bummed that they only offer brunch on Sundays. I wanted french toast with my rueben. :(
On a happier note the hubs and I are excited for Mellisers book signing next week! I hope we can hang long enough for Blackbird afterwards. We dont normally venture out on weeknights since we get up at 5am during the week. Bedtime for us is like 9 or 10!

Will I see you/meet you next week at Grindcore? PS. I'm nervous about meeting all of you and I'm a little shy. So I'll be the timid one in the corner with my head down.

I'm going to feel bad calling everyone by their PPK names! But that is the only way I know you. SC said she would make name tags for everyone. Is this still happening? I need a head count and plans written down for this event before I get nervous and don't show at all. Also, RandiJ if you show up and don't look like Bjork I might faint from confusion.

Haha so funny. The Bjork picture is my avatar for like everything, and back when I used Google Buzz (for like a week) my boyfriend's friend from college saw it and said to my bf "Hey...that's your girlfriend right? Is she some sort of European model? She's so exotic looking." hahahahah I was like, WHO on earth doesn't know Bjork in the swan dress? Come on.
And don't worry about being shy, I am super socially anxious and it either manifests itself by my being ridiculously quiet and shell-shocked, or manic and uncomfortably exuberant. Fun times!

Gotta admit, when I met Randi I was surprised that she didn't look like Bjork. The avatar has brainwashed us all.

My friend and I went to Blackbird today and had pizza! And then we went to Govinda's and had cake! And then we were tired and went home. We went to the sex toy store too, which was fun, but kinda weird. They have "female" and "male" toys in separate rooms, which (as a transgendered person) made me feel kinda uncomfortable, and then they used the wrong pronouns for my (also trans) friend, which made us both uncomfortable.
But I probably weirded them out too by suctioning the sparkly penises to my forehead and going LOOK AT ME, I'M A UNICORN in the middle of the store. :D
I think I may be too immature to be allowed to go to adult toy stores.

Sexploratorium. Yeah, I've never seen a place that has separate rooms before. The main front room that you walk into has the toys they identified as for "female bodied" (I think she might have actually said "female bodied or unisex"), but there's no sign in the front room. The back room, which you walk through the front room to get to, has a big sign over it that says MALE ROOM in blue letters with the little blue "men's bathroom" symbol above it. It was super awkward because it felt like I had to choose which room I belonged in and let everyone in the store know which sort of genitals I have, more so than in a store where I can just browse various items without having to go in a whole different room. I feel like this is probably the kind of thing that cisgender people don't think about? I dunno, I don't know what cisgender people think about since I'm not one ;-)

Is anyone driving to Melisser's event (who could take me)? Or anyone going from Center City/Rittenhouse-ish?

Not unless you want to come home with me! lol I'm going home after work and then coming back into the city. I was going to tell everyone that we will be driving, so if anyone needs a ride from Grindcore to Blackbird we can fit people in our car.
