I just saw this thread again. I agree, I think the homemade are a bit less sweet but still pretty sweet. I find the texture pretty good. I will be making your order today. Thanks!
linanil, you know there is always more to be had. I'm keeping the pumpkins in my shop til Thanksgiving because candy corn is good all the time. or something.

If you have a candy need, you can ask. I'm not a huge experimenter in the kitchen but I can try. Or find a recipe that works perhaps.

The candy corn just takes a lot longer to make, with the three colors and the rolling of the coils and such. I did it one year, but the pumpkins take a lot less time so I can sell them for less. The taste is the same though. I'm pretty sure the scotchies are my signature cookie. They never get old.
