A Leafs fan and Habs hater? This should be interesting. I like the Habs, but it was a good game. And yes, fork Philly. And the Hawks. I'm not even doing a pool this year. I'm just going to be an observer and see how that works out for me. Since the Canucks are apparently the number one hated team in the NHL this year, I don't expect any support or sympathy from you guys. So I give you naked Ryan Kesler. Linked, because I know you'll all click and I don't want to be yelled at by mods. http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/Kesl ... story.html

My team is the Pens, and then the Jets because my husband's from a long line of Winnipeg peeps. My father is a long-time Bruins fan, so when it comes to the Habs I was raised to hate.

It can't be that bad, it's from the Vancouver Sun...
I was going to resist playing fantasy hockey this year, I get too whipped up and involved and it gets ugly at home on the weeks I'm playing against the hubby, but I relented and now I have a team. I have to have something (or someone) to cheer for while watching the hometown games since my team kinda sucks. I'm hoping they have a better year this year.
I love the Bruins (I started following them when we lost the North Stars), but my hometown team is the Wild.

Meh, we have been busy and haven't been watching that much hockey. The Flyers got wooped on the other day by Boston. Pronger and Giroux are both out with no clue as to a return. But, we did watch the new 24/7 show on HBO about the Flyers & Rangers race to the winter classic. It's really good!

Yes, what is up with the Wild? You must be enjoying the season, rohai. And the Kings taking Darryl Sutter as their new head coach? Ha! Have fun with that, LA. I'm glad that Luongo seems to have escaped Planet Drama for now. All in all I'm looking forward to the end of 2011 because, well, all this happened: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/opinion ... ockey.html

Sigh. I miss you guys.
Anyway, my little sister met and filmed an interview with Mike Babcock today. She said he was extremely nice.
Surely someone wants to shit-talk Ovechkin or something? (not me!)
