Not necessarily the board's fault but chatter and I used to have different colored backgrounds so that we knew who was logged in. Now we are posting as the other because we can't tell unless we look at the username. I suppose we could just pay better attention. Or I could stop being really lazy and fix chatter's laptop....

I could just type "walrus" in the search and it found everything that had "walrus" in it, including if someone quoted me. It took me forever to find this post, see? Oh weird, it's working now. I think I'm dumb.

Has it always been like this? I haven't reported anything since the beginning when all of us were double and triple posting all the time. So it must either be new or I was first to report all of those.

In email notifications for new posts, I think it would be great to see who has replied, and the post within the email (like it used to be).

actually a compliment...played around on another forum not related to food, and it was awful. Had to click through so many things to find what I wanted, and the search was not helpful...you have spoiled me over here!

Minor wish...on the number of views column it would be nice if there were commas to indicate 000s.
Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I can't stand how opening the ppk forum from the main page opens a browser window. I like to streamline my browsing as much as possible, but I often end up with all these random windows all over the place.

On mine it opens in a new tab.

How about a list of all the ingredients used in the book? (If the list already exists, when you are done laughing at me would you please provide a link?) You might add it to the book as a blow-in or to the website in a spreadsheet or simple table format so that those of us who are just ramping up our chowing down would have a guide to stocking the larder. Or you might just send me the only copy in the world via my e-mail.

I would like it if email notifications of new replies to a forum I'm following would show the actual posting in the email, rather than just the URL and making me click through to the forum, which is dangerous because then I end up browsing the forum instead of doing the work I'm paid to do. Any chance of that happening?

I see the playground people talking about their relationships and partners a lot, but what about a place for those of us without kids to talk relationships/marriage/polyamoury/friendships/family issues/whathaveyou?
I have a relationship thing I'd like to get input about but the foyer seems too... casual/shooting the shiitake for it? Other than that I don't know where to put it.
THank you for your time ;)

Pfft. You know nothing you do in your life really has any meaning until you have kids.
...but yeah, perhaps. And aren't the Playground relationship threads mostly about stuff in the context of those kids? Everything gets a little more complicated when you're responsible for another little creature or two, who you can't legally just leave at home alone overnight with a food dish and squeaky toys.

THank you for your time ;) I think it's fine to put that kind of stuff in the Foyer.
