I cannot wait for more. I've grown to like the retelling of what didn't happen in the comic series.

It's not on for a few more hours here, but I will be watching. I had hoped for a recap marathon, but I think I remember where they left off.

Is the irony of the survivors praying to a zombie intentional?

that second scene with the hoard was so intense! My heart is still pounding!
Can't say I was thrilled with the direction of the rest of the ep, but I think after the preview for the upcoming season it will lead to some good stuff!

Why do they have private conversations so loudly in front of everyone? It's like facebook in real life.

Loved it!! The beginning kept me on the edge of my seat. So much intensity right from the start but ugh the scene in the woods with Daryl and the dead zombie was by far the most repulsive scene so far on this show. The ending blew me away! I was not expecting that at all. I'm so excited about the rest of the season now!! I can't wait till Sunday.

I don't think this is, like, the best show ever, but damn they know how to keep you on the edge of your seat. I spent that whole herd scene alternating between pacing back and forth and hiding under a blanket.

I thought they had some good suspense, but the story seemed a bit lacking this episode. Too much whining. The season preview looked promising though.
I really hope they kill off the boy, only because I'll have a hard time believing a kid can sustain that kind of injury and survive under these conditions.

It's super suspenseful and fun to watch, the special effects are superb, but overall it's been lacking in story and character development. But I also have to keep reminding myself that it's only seven episodes in.

We were gone most of yesterday so I'm kind of bummed I missed the marathon. I had no idea they were doing that until I saw the last minute of the last episode. The suspense of the first 20 minutes was driving me crazy. I'm usually very calm, but I was squirming and had my hands to my face a lot last night. I "had" to get a beer to calm down. I do hope Shane and Andrea leave since they are my two least faves. I know it's bisque-y but if both kids are gone from here onward I am okay with it. I can't wait for next week's episode already. quagga wrote: So many commercials! It was too many, but there were none for the first twenty minutes, so maybe they shoved them all in later?

Great recap: http://videogum.com/393602/the-walking- ... tv/recaps/I was really annoyed they kept letting Carl do stuff. You've been hiking for a gazillion hours and it's getting dark soon, but you're not going to make him go back with the rest of the crew? Really? Maybe I would just be a horrible parent.

Hey, VeganBeauty, let's not mention comics plot in here in case there's crossover. I'm gonna put a spoiler around that just in case.

The kids annoy me, but I like where they're going with the zombies. The herd was cool, and I liked the creepy church zombies. I was half waiting for one of them to make the sign of the cross, so I could freak out.

I half-expected one to be just, you know, an old lady, maybe with a couple of sort of "pet" zombies who she takes to church and feeds so they don't get freaky on her.

The herd was soooo scary. I found myself holding my breath! I love this show so much, though. I generally hate zombie/vampire/scary anything, but Walking Dead is filling a LOST-shaped hole in my life with all the survival drama.

It definitely has a Lost feel to it!

I think that was a plot device so our group could find another group of survivors. I have nothing to base that on, though. I'm over whiny mom & daughter. over, over, over.

Well that was a huge disappointment . I'm sorry but this last episode sucked compared to the kick asparagus season premiere last week. Everybody was bisqueing and moaning about something.
I'm tired of all the women on this show. They're all pathetic and whiny. I was hoping Andrea was finally going to get killed off because she's just becoming less tolerable as the show progresses. Ugh and give Dale a freakin' break already. Was that dirty look she gave him when she returned to the RV really necessary. We get it you're pissed your asparagus didn't get blown up.
I wanted to smack Lori for complaining about the dr actually being a vet. C'mon the dude is trying to save your son's life! He has experience in the medical field, access to medical equipment/supplies and without him Carl would've been dead already. She was so ungrateful and unappreciative.
Loved Daryl as usual and how he called out the girls for complaining and telling the to STFU already. Also loved the line about Merle and the clap.
T-Dog was all whiny as well but at least his excuse was the fact that he was going crazy from a blood infection. Even Glen was acting like a brat! I loved Glen last season but this season we've hardly seen him and now when he has a few lines it's all whining.
I'm holding out hope that this new girl (the one on the horse with the baseball bat) ends up being a cool, strong female character. So far she seems that way so there's a chance she won't end up like the rest of the other women. Hopefully...
