Does anyone have any info about the art or craft scenes happening in PDX? Shows for crafters, art galleries, events, that sort of thing? Places to sell one's work?
Thanks.

I was thinking about applying to Crafty Wonderland this year. Looks like an awesome show.

From what I've researched PDX has an epic crapton of craft-focused stores like yarn, fabric, craft/DIY bars, so I think the population is pretty into it.

Handmade Bazaar used to be the shiitake, but I'm not sure when/if it'll be happening again.

I think lots of people sell stuff in other people's shops/boutiques? I went into a little shop near Off the Griddle and bought awesome local tea towels last month.

(Probably too obvious.)

Thanks for the links y'all.
Is there any sort of gallery scene there? Fine arts and such? I need to do some googling. I hope to visit at the beginning of the year and would love to check out that sort of thing.

There are a ton of galleries with art crawls in each part of the city every month.
