Oh, no, sorry. I was referring to the tv show advertising announcing that Grimm was "from the creators of Buffy" or whatever it said. Anything with Whedon's name on it or 'Buffy' will get most fans to watch. Not Buffy-like, but I think viewers expect something as awesome as what Buffy was, like Dr. Horrible.

This show is def growing on me! I love the blutbad character! I cracked up when he pulled that guy's arm off.

Meh, I think I might be throwing in the towel. The premise has so much potential, like a cross between Buffy and Supernatural, but the execution totally falls flat for me. There's just no personality or cleverness or wit, and none of the characters are particularly engaging except for the aunt who is now dead.

I did love that the girlfriend brought home Voodoo donuts, though!

I'm really disappointed in this second episode also. I find the lead actor very drab, boring, and uninteresting. The story this week was pretty lame and predictable. The only character that keeps my interest is the blueblood guy or whatever he's called. He's the only one that I care to watch. I'm going to try to stick it out for a few more episodes though. Next week's looks a lot more entertaining (I hope!).

He is my favorite, which is kind of sad because the lead character should be more engaging. At first I couldn't place the aunt but then I remembered her from "Rescue Me". It's great that they gave a a shout out to voodoo donuts, but then I got super jealous since I've not tried them yet. I liked the first episode better (minus the pink shoes) but will give it one more chance before I write it off. I am curious to see what they will do with the other stories.

I feel like there's a lot of room for the main character to grow, but I'm thinking they're making him intentionally kind of a dofus so we can watch the process of him becoming a Grimm. The preview for next week looked interesting and vaguely law and ordery, which could be neat for a fantasy show.

Watching the pilot now. It's very scary for me! (I can't do horror; this is as close as it gets.) But it's very interesting! I decided to give it a chance bc I found out Sean Hayes is an exec producer. It's not as silly as I thought it would be with him involved :P Agree that lead actor needs a bit more charisma.

I still like it! The second episode premise isn't as good as the pilot, but I totally laughed/gasped when the blutbad yanked off that dude's arm.

No actual Portlander waits in that line to get an entire box of doughnuts for two people to eat! I mean no Portlander really waits in that line anyway. But also how many doughnuts do the two of them need? They get stale fast! Therefore I'm over Grimm.

(Actually I kind of like it, I think? Except I don't know anything really about the main character?)

A dozen donuts for two people is totally reasonable. A dozen donuts for just one person, also totally reasonable.

I'm sigging this, okay?

Watching second now, even though I had sick nightmares last night from this show. I hope they catch that terrible bear boy

And I really hope the reformed wolf from the pilot is like his sidekick from now on; that would be brilliant. And every hero needs a partner/sidekick/talented friend.

But they're supposed to be Portlanders! And how long ago were you there? I feel like it's been years since there's been no line.

I agree that the main actor is meh but I hope they'll make his role and therefore him more interesting.

I love the guy that plays Blutbad (bloodbath), I have loved him in My Name is Earl and Prison Break, too. I can never remember his name, so I asshole-ishly call him Crazy Eyes.

This has potential. I like that fairy tales are the new vampires.

i watched the first two episodes back to back on sunday night, and i definitely like it enough to watch again this week. totally agree with everyone else--i love silas weir mitchell's character! i'm intrigued in the general concept... every episode will be a different fairytale spinoff? i wonder when they will run out of the common ones.

He's the bad one right, from the car with the blonde woman? I thought they were the same person but wasn't sure.

I think they're the same person, at least that's what I got.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't 100% sure that the bad guy was his boss also.

He's known as Haywire in our house, so I don't think you're assholish at all!

I like that it's Law & Order-y, hopefully they'll let the main character grow into himself in a reasonable manner. He has to learn, I get that, but it's also a show & so it's okay for him to make a mistake, not catch someone, and learn from it. And then bring back that 'escaped' thing later on so that we can see how much he's learned.

Ryan says this show has lots of potential & really likes it, I've been enjoying it as well.

I was at my parents' last night and we watched it together. It's now my dad's new fave show! So cool.

I felt bad for the queen bee! She had such good hair! Also, he's doing a crappy job being a Grimm so far.

I'm really nervous for his fiancee, bc we all know she isn't going to last long.
