Oh dip, I always see the Savina polishes at N Rack and always wonder about them. Yay now I get to spend more money!

I had heard that they were the same manufacturer as Color Club, which is why I was wondering if that had changed since they weren't on the list. Haha I was wondering if I should ever ask about it on here

la vie sale wrote: How about Milani? Yeah, like missmuffcake said, some Milani are vegan, but some say they may contain guanine, so you have to check the labels. I didn't put them on the list because I was trying to keep it to brands that are all vegan (or that are all vegan except a short easy to list exception like BB Couture and Wet n Wild.) bastah wrote: I had heard that they were the same manufacturer as Color Club, which is why I was wondering if that had changed since they weren't on the list. We just got Ross in the Chicago area and I went on a polish quest already. I got last years holiday glitters.

Reading nail polish ingredients is almost impossible for me, the print on most is just too small.

So what is the verdict on American Apparel polishes? I bought one months ago and really like their formula. The website says it's cruelty free and from I can read the ingredients are ok. I would like to get a few more.

i thought they were vegan, which is why i bought one, heh... but i think i may have relied on the "other vegans seem to be buying it" method of inquiry.

From googling, it looks like at least at one time AA polishes were made by Forsythe, which is Color Club's parent company, which would make AA polish cruelty free and vegan. BUT there are a bunch of articles and blogs about AA suing Forsythe this past January over "exploding bottles" which I assume is hyperbole about bottles breaking easily/frequently. I would assume that means they ended their partnership with Forsythe.
My best suggestion would be to email AA and ask about testing, and for an ingredient list.

I did email them. I looked at my one AA polish yesterday and the bottle looked discolored, as in the polish inside. None of my other polishes are, even the cheap ones. So I wonder if this is a common problem with AA. I rolled the bottle a bit to see if it needed to be shaken up, but it didn't make much difference. So, right now not so sure I would buy another one. They do have some pretty colors though. I will post their response.

I've been lusting over lynderellas too, but I don't know if they're vegan either, though I vaguely remember hearing they're cruelty free (but could be wrong, it's just an inkling of a memory that I might be making up in my head.)

I've seen Keeki online here but am yet to buy any, they're very cute! jojo wrote: This brand looks totally cruelty free & vegan. They have some awesome colours too! http://www.pritinyc.com/PRITI-FLOWERS_c_31.htmlI've seen these but I think someone said they're another brand repackaged, I might be mistaken and I can't remember which other brand. They have such an amazing colour range. jessilikewhoa wrote: Inglot polishes are vegan, Kitteh posted about them a long time ago in the epic nail polish thread, and I had forgotten (again, just posting about polishes, I don't know about their other makeup, and at least one of their nail treatments isn't vegan.)
I got lots of emails from Inglot listing the ranges of products that may contain animal products, if anyone is interested, I can forward them ;)

Got an email back from Lechat, the Dare to Wear polishes from them are cruelty free and vegan. http://head2toebeauty.com/nail_polishes/npo_lechat1.htm

What about the new Layla Magnetic nail polish? I know they don't test on animals but I'm not sure about ingredients.

I'm exceptionally monolingual, and wasn't able to find any English info on the brand via my google searches. I actually didn't even know that they were cruelty free until you just posted. I do know that Nails Inc from the UK are vegan, and I like the magnetic polish I have from them quite a bit.

I was just at a Juut Salon Spa and they had a huge wall display of "Spa Ritual vegan nail polish".
