Just found out last night from Quarrygirl's sad tweet that Curly's is closing in 2-4 weeks. Guess their rent was raised significantly. I'm so sad! The service was insanely slow, but where am I going to get my hangover burger now? Woe is me. Curly's, you will be missed. http://instagr.am/p/S2Fvi/This leaves me wondering, though, what about Hotel Tortuga? Couldn't they just hybridize the menu to include Curly's staples?

Weren't they originally Veg Cit Diner, too? Either way, sad that it's gone, best salad dressing ever and amazing cake you can't find anywhere else. I have to make a trip down there.

hmm open is good! but is being bought out good? yep, they are the originators of Veg City Diner and also Burritoville if I'm not mistaken.

Oh god, oh god, oh god, the apostrophe. THE APOSTROPHE. Uuuuugh, how is this still happening? Why in god's name wouldn't you make sure everything was 100% correct before you threw your grammatically incorrect name/logo out into the world?!
That shouldn't be what bothers me the most about this whole situation, but it is.

What bothers me most is that they seem to be blaming being vegetarian for their inability to make the rent. I would blame being mediocre.

Curly's was one of my favorite places, so I'm (still) way bummed. Can't believe I'll never have one of their suna melts again!
Loved Burritoville when they had it, but still haven't been to Hotel Tortuga. Anyone know if it's worth going?
