This thread and the website just saved me and my hubby's arses. Thank you vegans of Omaha! We are spending Christmas with my husband's meat-potato-butter family this year and I am a'feared of what they will try and feed us. Again - the odd yet rapant confusion over anything that isn't beef being acceptable for us to eat must be explained. But you eat chicken, right? Well, how about eggs then, we have eggs! You don't eat cheese? Well, here's some iceburg lettuce and a baked potato!
