I'm so excited for tomorrow, I've been drooling over the Quesadilla menu and looking at photos of their food on Yelp. I want to eat it all. (I'm psyched to meet y'all too, but this food!)

eta: I'll be wearing a faux leather jacket over a white and grey ombre hoodie. I have brown hair with half my head clippered short and the other half is chin length, and a gold hoop in my nose. I have black framed hipster glasses, and I'm short and fat. My hubby is chubby with an Amish/Abe Lincoln beard and black framed hipster glasses. We're awkward but friendly.

I don't know who else is coming, but we're running a bit late, so we'll be at Quesadilla closer to 2:30. I ditched the faux leather (it's too hot!), but still am wearing the ombre hoodie. Hope to see people there!

I had fun! I already apologized to EmJaeDee, but pepperpot I'm sorry if I talked too much and dominated the conversation, I ramble when I'm nervous and meeting new people makes me nervous.

Anyway, I hope to do another meet up, maybe in December.

Not at all! There's no reason for you to apologize! I'm the opposite - I'm horribly shy and I'm always aware that I don't talk much and I'm afraid people think I'm boring. I was glad you were there to help keep the conversation going! It was great meeting you and your hubby and seeing EmJaeDee again. We definitely need to do another meetup. At some point we have to do a potluck...I neeeeeed to try that chick-o-stick ice cream!

Okay, Chicago kids, let's get a December meet up on the calendar before we're all booked. I am willing to host a potluck, or we could go somewhere.

Per usual we can't do Thursdays, and Dan's band is playing on December 14th. We have my family on Christmas day and his on Christmas eve. Otherwise we're open right now. I'm into both potlucks and restaurants, so I'm easy that way.

HELLO everyone! (I know this isn't the intro section, but I saw Chicago and got excited and, well, it is what it is.) I'm Abigail, I live in Lincoln Square, and I'd like to make some vegan friends to cook/meet-up/restaurant around with. There is an awesome Thai place (the best I've found...and I loooove Thai food) by me called Sticky Rice that can veganize a lot of their dishes--Pad See Ew forever YES PLZ--and I may have exhausted my reserve of people willing to go there with me. Also this is the first forum I've joined during my centuries of internetting and I have a little anxiety over it, so...hello, everyone.

Yes, let's decide on something! Weekends are best for me, but my schedule's really open, so I'm up for anything. Maybe we could go to Ian's for pizza since jessilikewhoa wanted to try it. A potluck would be awesome too. Maybe we could do both?!

I am available for either/or/all on: Wednesdays, Most Fridays (not this one, though), Most Saturdays (not the 17th) and Sundays.

Hey ya'll one of my dear friends started a cream puffs business in Chicago called "Puffs of Doom" this weekend she is launching the vegan egg nog puffs at the Renegade craft fair so I wanted to give you all a head's up. I want cream puffs!
