I have loads of strawberries, but the slugs seem to get to them before I do. I ate 3 this year from the garden. The slugs got the rest. I'd love to have tons of fruit in the summer. I just have to figure out how to get it to grow, and not let the bugs eat all of it.

Whiteflies are attracted to yellow. Put some yellow sticky tape or sticky traps to attract them as well as other annoying pests. Celyn, did you buy your stuff from a greenhouse? Here's one of my favorite links about these lil' buggers:

I still can't stop thinking about what I want to do for next season. I STILL have arugula and salad mix growing, but I don't think that will happen much longer. I'm a little relieved I didn't get the PDX job because I have MAD plans for an edible yard. I want to inspire all my neighbors to grow their own food and show them that it can be done in an attractive way.
