Boon Burger, Clay Oven, Delicious Vegetarian, and Spicy Noodle House are all fantastic! I really want to go to Mondragon next time I'm in town.

I went to Boon Burger when I was in Winnipeg - so good (needless to say!) I may have also done an emergency stop for soft serve on the way to the airport.
What is Mondragon like? I am going to refer to this list next time I'm in town!

The Mondragon is one of my favorite places to eat! Vegan, local, organic & a political bookstore! It's super cool and so worth checking out!

What is Lo Pub like? I looked on Yelp but I couldn't find a menu. Is it a straight up bar? Or is it kind of restaurant-y during the day? Is the whole menu vegan?

The lo pub is one of my favorite places to hang out, relax, have a drink and watch a show! It feels like you are in someone's basement when you are there! it's so comfortable and cozy! It has a lot of pub type food like french fries and sandwiches but also has some other cool things! Everything is vegetarian and almost everything can be made vegan! Let me see if I can find a menu somewhere!

Oh man, I went to the Rebelles gathering last May and fell in love with Mondragon. They had to drag me away.

I was in Winnipeg last December for my cousin's wedding and I BEGGED my mom to take me to Boon Burger (She was in control of the only set of wheels) for vegan poutine. She wouldn't. It ruined my trip.
Someone tell me that the poutine there is great.

I'm going to Winnipeg tomorrow for a bit over a week - looking forward to eat all your food. What are my best options for a tight budget and a bottomless pit of a boyfriend?

The owner of Fusion Grill just made a reservation at my workplace, and he was excited to tell me all about his vegan options. Someone check it out and report back! :)
