If an irate (my roommate and I use the bridge as our bisqueing zone) girl wearing a fluffy black jacket chases after you from the walking side, then ice cream is -on-.

I had a sexy dream about Lulas last night. It was me and a banana split and milkshakes and many scoops. I woke up drooling.

I was dreaming about being a spy... I think I was saving the world's leader, who was secretly living the life of a basketball player who lived at the mall, from some sort of disaster. I remember getting stuck in the makeup isle of some store within said mall, but if I accomplished my mission (instead of waking up to pee) Lula's would have been my prize.

I saw the guy who works at Lula's (the one with the awesome veg tattoos) when I got off the train, but I figured it would be totally weird to say, "Hi, I eat your ice cream all of the time. How's it goin'?"

the banana softserve was good, but i felt like i might as well just eat chunks of bananas from the freezer.and that's not a bad thing, just sayin'.

Oh man, I really want pb soft serve and pb&j!

One really hot summer night Lula's had soft serve cake batter and soft serve lemon. The twist was like lemon cake and was THE BEST. Even better was that it was the end of the night and the air conditioner was broken so all the ice cream was melting and I got a free refill of ice cream. Nothing wins my heart like free ice cream but really the flavor combo is fantastic. The ss pumpkin spice with chocolate sauce, strawberry, and rocky road are some of my favorites too, yum. I wish Lula's posted their flavors of the day like a week in advance so I could plan my life around the ones that sound the best.

will always be a fan of lula's. stogo cant even step to this. a friend of mine was living on st marks for a while so he went in to lula's practically every day.

i dont think i've had a bad flavor from them but i'm partial to their peanut butter fudge, chai, espresso (so hard for me to find good vegan coffee ice cream!) cake batter, of course...my friend melissa got a cake batter flurry with mint cookies which is amazing so we nicknamed it 'the melissa special'. also good is the pumpkin soft serve which is probably gone until october again, i got it with graham crackers so its basically like eating pumpkin pie. really pissed i missed coffee soft serve when they were doing 'soft serve mondays'. we briefly suggested a candy cane/peppermint flavor for the christmas season but no dice. waiting for them to make peppermint patty again but they said its a really intensive process and takes a whole day or two.
i usually get sundaes, i dont fork around when it comes to ice cream. but i think i've tried everything they have to offer - egg creams, banana splits, brownie sundaes, yadda yadda.
anyway, lula's is amazing and super on top of their game. plus the staff is always really nice to us whenever we go.

I ate Lula's 3 nights in a row when I was in NYC. My favorite was probably caramel ginger cookie. Nomz.

I'm going to be in NYC in 2 days and I'm so going to Lula's again. I went on my birthday last year and it was so good (Hot fudge brownie sundae YES). Before that, my boyfriend and I ran 20 blocks to find the place, only for it to be closed for the day...

Totally craving cake batter soft serve right now! I had it over a brownie with hot fudge, whip cream, and cherries. YUM! They need a location in Philly.

One side of their soft serve machine has been broken forever. and soft serve is my favorite, so the last 4 or 5 times, I've just been getting cake batter. but I really want chocolate again! Are they ever going to get it fixed? can they put a different flavor in the working side instead of just cake batter??

I read your post right before I went today, so I tried that combo. Tasty, but the gummy bears got hard & frozen!

Can anyone confirm that Lula's is def open again? I see current reviews on Yelp, but their facebook is way out of date and when I go on the website I just get a black screen. Is there a new name?

It was definitely back in full swing when I was there in October and I haven't heard that it isn't still...!

Ok, great thanks! I'm going at the end of May over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to make sure I don't trek all the way down to the village for nothing.

What time did you go? They open at three. I was there after dinner and they were nice and busy.
