 Post subject: where do you go to get your knives sharpened?

My knives are basically useless at this point because they're so dull. I would like a knife sharpening place with less than 24 hour turnaround (fantes is the only place I can think of off the top of my head that sharpens, but they send the knives out). Id like it back day of if possible.

Also, south philly would be preferable, but it's not required. Help?

I've heard good things about Fante's in the Italian Market.

I just send mine out to some knife guy in a van but he takes about a week to bring them back so I just grumpily use my backup knives until he comes back.

Kitchen Kapers on 17th & Walnut. I only know this because I was there today buying a springform pan and someone got a cleaver sharpened!
