You should be a definitely.
Any Seattle meet-up is an event of unparalleled repartee and frivolity.

May I make a special request? Can we, perhaps... not in so many words, anyway... mention my PPK name? I'm having a hard time with the idea of explaining the PPK to biker boy... I don't know why since we met online. But I sort of don't want him to be able to stalk me down here because I've talked about him a lot and well... yeah. Something like that.

I I will not mention your ppk name! Explaining the ppk is hard. I think meeting ppkers is way easier than explaining the ppk. My man friend thought it was weird when I wanted to meet Vijita for the first time when we were on her island bike touring. Then he met her and now I think he gets it. And now he has also met FootFace and family and he didn't think that was odd. We ate pizza and he was the weirdo eating cheese. I enjoyed that.

Yeah, like I've mentioned it a few times. But if he was paying attention at all, the impression would not necessarily have been, "There's this place that I've visited practically every day for over four years, where there are people I consider friends even though I have never met them and probably never will. Many of them know more about how nervous I was about having the boyfriend/girlfriend talk than you do." You guys are easy. You're here and I've known you in real for a long time. We share meals and tents and stuff. The rest is harder to explain.

GlueGun will not be attending, probably.

I'm not going to make it. And I'm pretty mad about it. I've been eating nothing but French fries and lettuce for the past three days while we go to these awful omni restaurants with these people (and they play with their phones through the whole meal - who does that?!) and I was so looking forward to some good food and good company. But Tony didn't understand me when I told him what time we needed to leave, so we missed the ferry and the next one would make us an hour late. So boo.
Have fun! Eat an extra dinner for me, Katie.

Fun times last night!! Pinko wrote: Have fun! Eat an extra dinner for me, Katie. I only had one dinner. But due to confusion at Wayward this morning I ended up with more food than I asked for. I still ate it all. I asked for a scramble with hashbrowns instead of greens and a pancake on the side. He misunderstood and brought out an omelet (with dayia--blech). So they took that away and brought me the scramble, and hasbrowns, and greens, and toast. I ate it all except for a half piece of toast that I gave to my friend. I am not even stuffed! I should confuse the counter person at Wayward more often.............. Oh, and no Tad there this morning.

We had Wayward this morning, too! No Tad when we were there either. And now I'm having Turnpike pizza for dinner. Today makes up for yesterday, except for the fact that I don't get to hang out with you guys. It makes up for it food-wise, at least.

I'm super jealous of your Turnpike. I have been craving the vegan Greenlake for ages.

I am reviving le Seattle thread as I live here and love it and would really love to discuss Mighty-O doughnuts and Pcc among other vegan-y Seattle things.

26 hours between posts does not a revival make!
we can't complain about people bringing up old threads if you won't let them die first. step up your game by slowing down your game, people!

I'm pretty sure a thread has to fall off the first page before it can be revived. Which, believe me, will happen to this thread if you're patient, new person.
Oh, and if you're lucky enough to hit Mighty-O when the french toast donuts are still warm... zomgsogoodyouwilldie.

Oh no! I read the last (at the time) forum post's date as 2010! Embarrassing.
But yes. When warm, chocolate raspberry is my personal favorite. They should obtain a "HOT NOW" sign a la Krispy Kreme.
