about 1 out every 4 or 5 posts seems to just disappear instead of posting, and i sent a couple of pms that never showed after i hit the send button, that little message never shows or anything, it just goes right back to the page before the edit window.. i'm not a big poster and nothing is ultimately that important, but why would this be happening? My internet connection is a good broadband one (my hubbie is a gamer) so i don't think its shorting out.

What web browser? Do you have any web acceleration type software installed?

It's happened to me more than once, esp. when trying to send or reply to PMs. It just redirects me to the forum index without a confirmation page that my message has been sent (and it hasn't).
The issue likely lies with the PPK forum's database, combined with the version of forum software they're using. If the powers that be upgraded to phpBB 3.0.8 or higher, you'd at least get an error message that your reply or PM or whatever wasn't submitted successfully.
(Hey Isa, there's probably some line of code within the configuration files of version 3.0.7-PL1, but 3.0.8 and 3.0.9 are stable releases.)
