there is a game on amazon.com that i can download the code for my psp. how on earth does this work? nothing on amazon that i can find will tell me. it says the psp has to be hooked up to the internet...why? i'm downloading the code to my computer: can't i just then upload it to the psp via the usb cable?
i'm sorry i sound like such a moron, but i've searched the internet far and wide and can't get any answers. apparently it's such a simple thing that no one bothered to ask about it except for me. anyway, the big deal about having the psp hooked up to the internet is that i don't have wireless at my house and there was something on amazon that you have to upload it at the time of download.
man, i sound really stupid when i talk about technology. some technophile please help me.

I don't have a PSP. FYI.
From what I understand, you buy the code. You put the code in somewhere on your PSP. That connects your PSN account to that game, which will let you download the game onto a memory stick so you can play it. It's a method of digital distribution that (nearly) circumvents the Playstation Store.

Maybe you can download it on your computer and transfer it via USB. I'm not positive.

your psp should have a selection to access the psp store (you need to sign up for an account).
I've never done codes, but either you buy it from your psp and enter the code, or you buy it from the psp store online enter the code then download free on your psp
I have bought a couple things on my psp and it just downloads the game to your sd card.

theres an enter code option somewhere on your psp, then you put that it and download it from your psp, as far as i understand. which is no help to somebody with wireless. Meaning I have no idea, I'm afraid.
