I forgot to mention this kitchen is not strictly vegan, but they're cool with letting the vegans handle the produce, grains, etc.

I believe there is a need for some cooks this weekend, Sunday morning likely, to feed the food justice gathering that's starting at La Plaza Cultural Community Garden and marching to Zuccotti. The kitchen will not be the main east NY kitchen but some other ancillary kitchen. PM me and I can pass along more info once I get it. Feeding farmers & gardeners, always a good cause!

Anyone want to help cook this Friday? We'll start in the morning in the East Village and probably be finished by afternoon. We could also use help transporting food--bikes or vehicles welcome. PM me!
