About time! I hope they bring it to the UK (if it tastes okay).

It's not bad, either! I've had once twice. It cost extra, if I remember, and it's pretty huge, too. The only thing I don't like is that they microwave it, which makes it a bit flabby and limp, but still, taste-wise I like it!

Seems more than experiment in BC, it's been available at every location I've gone to. Not bad at all and when you're in a rush it sure beats french fries.

I had one, and it was gross. I didn't even eat the whole thing. Pretty disappointing.

Meh, it's not that bad. It's as bad as you expect stuff to be at Subway (which is marginally above bad). I have low expectations when it comes to getting a Subway sammich on a road trip, and I think the patty tastes just like all those other crappy but necessary frozen veggie patties. I say it's a good thing.
I tweeted about it and this one mean vegan got on my asparagus about the evils of Subway. Dude, I know. I'm just trying to eat in small towns and airports. Sorry if I crave more than Vega.

Wait, it tastes shiitake, but in a way that's worse than what you guys may have thought the original (vegetarian) veggie patty tasted like (if you've ever had it)? Cause I quite liked the veggie patties before, but obviously just started eating the regular veggie subs after going vegan; thus personally I would be pretty happy with the vegan patty if it tastes the same.

I wonder what the protein content is, 'cause more than taste that's what I'm looking for in a quick lunch in a vegan-unfriendly world.
For example, last summer a group of us stopped in Pincher Creek for lunch and we can all agree on Subway for a quick road trip lunch, but personally I need more than veggies and bread for a meal and this sounds like a good thing.

subway is stupid for not making their original veggie patty a vegan one. If theyd only have hummus or falafel theyd probably get more hippy business. But theyre dumb...and lets be honest, subway sorta sucks

A twelve inch veggie sub with everything on it, and I'm hungry again an hour or later. If the patty does nothing but add a little more substance, it'll be an improvement. If I go to Subway, it's usually because I'm faint with hunger and far from my own kitchen, not because I'm expecting a gourmet spread...

Man, between having exhausted my probably ONLY ever avocado Subway experience, and then having already tried, and liked the vegan patty, I am feeling like I eat too much Subway! I'm spoiled.

You guys are crazy for expecting something great-tasting from a fast-food outlet. ps...I had avocado on a Subway veggie delight in Hiroshima.
