I feel like we've covered brunch a lot in this forum but the only recommendations people have had were like Kate's, Curly's and Organic Grill. My sister is in town from San Diego and while an omni, doesn't like eggs, so Organic Grill etc doesn't seem like a great choice for her. Anyone got a secret spot on the LES that serves both vegans and omnis? maybe I should just try to get her to meet me later and drag her to Pukk or even Wild Ginger...she's not veg-phobic at least.

I recently had brunch at Cafe Orlin on St. Marks Place. There were a few really yummy sounding vegan options, and I opted for a middle eastern plate with delicious hummus, babaganoosh and a really good tabouli salad. There was also a veggie burger, and a hijiki salad with breaded tofu. I'm not 100% sure if the burger is vegan because I didn't ask about if it had eggs as a binder.
As for non-egg omni options, my friend had millet pancakes with chicken sausage and beet salad. She loved it. Decent prices too.
