It looks as though I will be in Portland for New Year's! My buddy works for an airline and is hooking me up with a buddy pass from Cleveland to Portland for super cheap. Seriously, like saving me about $700. Anyway, I was wondering if someone could link me to an "alternative" magazine or something that might have show listings or events going on that weekend. Thought maybe we could check out some bands that maybe don't come to Cleveland or something. I'm into hardcore, punk, and metal for the most part. Or, if someone knows of anything cool going on that weekend let me know. Here's a little back story:http://forum.theppk.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16467 So forking excited! Thanks!

Depends. Don't know if you can get tickets for Plan B before hand. I guess that's not much help.

Yes, go that show! I'm going because my friend's band is playing, but also because Red Fang is awesome live.

this might be a tiny bit random, but we were given a few tickets for a new year's eve show with reverend horton heat at the crystal ballroom to give away on our community radio station in olympia, and the folks who called in for them sadly didn't pick them up. i would love to give them to someone who would like to go to the show. the catch is that the tickets are with me in olympia. would anyone like to have them (for free) who would be able to pick them up in olympia? it starts at 9 p.m. and is 21+.

I know that was weird spam, but has anyone seen any dinners happening for Xmas Eve or New Years Eve? I was out of town for Xmas last year and went to Natural Selection for NYE, but they're closing for the holiday this year. I love going out to eat to celebrate holidays, so if anyone hears anything, please post it here!
