It was so warm all week that I am kind of peased that it's cold and rainy now. I absolutely have to change pants/shoes/socks as soon as they get wet, even if it's only a little bit. I am a baby like that. What I do like about this weather is it is perfect for soup making and pie baking. I'm excited/nervous to break in VPITS!

It's been cloudy all day, but it still hasn't rained. I'm not sure if it's supposed to rain or not though. I kind of hope it does, but the problem with that is the leaves in my yard will be all wet again, and I still have to play in them.

It's starting to get really cold here, in the mid to low 30s. At least it was moderately sunny today and yesterday. I turned on the heat for the first time last night!

It is freakishly warm outside right now. 11C / 52F! That NEVER happens at this time of year. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, which doesn't seem like it will be too long.

We keep getting big storm warnings then nothing happens. So that's fine, but I can't help living in fear that this is the calm before the big storm/earthquake/tsunami etc. I wasn't afraid of stuff like that until we got the cat. Is this what it's like to be a mother?

Nothing out of the ordinary here, but the rain seems at least 25% rainier and the wind 50% windier when you're out running in it.
