Our latest meet up is planned for December 11 at 6pm at Ian's, right?

We're discussing dates for a December dessert potluck (how alliterative). So far, Friday the 16th in the evening has been proposed. That works for me!

We're down for the 11th and the 16th.

Cool! How's 7pm on the 16th? And though it is a dessert potluck, I might make some savory appetizers, just so we don't collapse in a sugar haze.

fork. You guys. I was just going over our finances and realized we can't at all afford to do the Ian's meet-up this month, which sucks, because Ian's was my place, y'know? Just too many expenses with getting holiday gifts and getting ready to go back to school in January. We can do the Dessert potluck though, and are looking forward to it. We can do two kinds of coconut ice cream, should we do something else too? Like a pie or something? Or an appetizer, maybe black bean soup?

And I have no idea why I capitalized dessert.

Boo, hiss, but I know how that goes. I will send you the info on how-to get to my place. And ohmigosh, ice cream. I'd say that's enough, but if you want to bring an appetizer, too, that'd be cool.
I haven't decided what I'm making yet. But my (awesome, vegan) mom will be in town, so maybe she'll make something, too.

Oh no! It sucks that you can't make it. We can always plan a second Ian's meetup in the near future.

I am making tempeh pastry puffs (from Vegan Brunch) and maybe some fresh spring rolls. I'm not sure what everyone else is bringing. So if you feel like making something, sure, but if you don't, that'll be fine.

Ice cream is in the freezer getting nice and solid overnight/morning (because mornings are for sleeping!) I'm excited for the potluck!

I am about to attempt to make cookie-bars! And have a quinoa salad-thing chillin'.
