The boy often has this problem, but he delivers sammiches by bike for a living and will wear the same pair of jeans for a week straight. So it's mostly the biking that does it. He sends his jeans out to get patched once. If they get another hole after that he usually throws them away. But not always.

Ive patched before if the rest of the leg is good and they are comfy jeans.

$60 is "cheap"?!

Yes, compared to $250 it is. Usually Gap jeans last a long time, too, for the $60 price tag.

... but maybe I just have too many pairs of jeans/jeggings that I wear for them to get crotch holes.

Duct Tape, a crusty loincloth, or a studded cod piece.

Cheap jeans are $10 aeropostale clearance jeans-and I am crying because they make my butt look amazing. I sort of think the only thing to fix this is squats- or squats cause them-IDK but pretty much all of my work pants and favorite jeans fall apart at the seams near the crotch.
The only pair of jeans I owned from 8th grade until I graduated high school were from the Gap. They never got crotch holes but the bum ripped out of them on stage during a dance competition. They were $60 back then(20 years ago) so I am guessing $60 is now a super sale/clearance price.

My favourite jeans of all time has an asparagus hole. Ew what. Just sayin' I feel yo pain. Maybe distress them so there are lots more holes, and will therefore look intentional or fashionable or sumthin'.

I've never kept jeans long enough until a hole has ripped at the crotch. I'm assuming it forms because it's a stress point?

I gain and lose weight so much that I usually donate and buy new ones before that ever happens!

Currently all I wear are skinny jeans and jeggings and I would like to think those are immune to crotch holes as they're all spandexy!

I've never had to get rid of jeans for any other reason than crotch holes. I think I've been the same size my entire life and am really oblivious to current trends. So my acid wash high waisteds have been doing me well since 1995.

I have dark blue fabric for patching crotch holes in jeans this is its only purpose.
I have fat thighs that rub together. I usually patch once, and that lasts me a couple months. I throw them out after I get holes in the patches.

I don't patch, I just keep wearing them until the fabric is so thin that I worry my pants might rip if I make any sudden movements. Then it's time for some new jeans.

I just bought some jeans from the Gap on clearance for $28 and still felt like I was paying too much. What can I say, I am cheap.

I feel like the more spandex the quicker they get holes.
I'm the opposite. I never throw any thing away in case I lose or gain weight back. Then I end up an out of style fatty.

I have a bag in my garage of 10 jeans that range from gap to citizens that all have holes from my thighs. I dont even think its that theyre huge, I think its how I walk! This is also why wearing skirts doesnt work for me. I need to see a tailor.

This is where I am with my favorite pair. Before I put them on I peer inside and see how much light is coming through the thin spots. I've pretty much decided that I will still wear them, but not if I'm going to be out of the house for very long!



Airbrushing? That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

I get worn spots along the seams on the inside thigh of my jeans long before it's time to throw them out. I usually reinforce the worn spot with an iron-on patch applied to the inside of the leg. The same method would probably work for crotch holes.

Crotch holes suck. I usually just wear them until the hole gets too big, then stop wearing them/eventually get rid of them. I've made cutoff shorts before- but they are very short shorts. I mostly buy second-hand jeans anyway, so it's not a huge deal, but it's always frustrating to lose a well-fitting pair of jeans.

I throw them out, once I was trying my sewing skills and somehow I couldn't moved my leg after...
But I hate buying jeans I just bought two days ago another pair from TopShop in the same color as I have one from Cheap Monday and in the same style as I already have from TS. Eh!
