I made the Drunken Beans with Chorizo for dinner tonight. Last time I made them, they were amazing. This time, well, I used the wrong beer, and it's really obvious (to me at least). I couldn't get my hands on any Mexican cerveza, so I used what I thought at the time would be close. It wasn't. My beans are really bitter. What should I do? Can I do anything? Would adding sugar or agave help? I don't wanna throw out an entire pot of beans!
