I changed my avatar, though. That's not my dog (but he's gorgeous) though that is "my" beach.

I didn't either. I was tempted, but then in an effort to keep confusion to a minimum appifanie provided me with the lovely quote that is now my sig. No name change AND people will know what my name is/how to pronounce it. Win-win.
I also didn't change my avatar because I'd just done that a month or so ago.

I am the same! Though, I think I've had about...four different PPK names because I keep forgetting my password AND the email address I used. Oy!
Sideline--what's the deal with the "Board is temporarily unavailable" error I keep getting? Too much traffic?

No change here. I am bad with change and a whole new board was more than enough for me!

I am still Mack. Same name, similar avatar, and you can have my matwinser sig when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. I fear change.
All the familiar faces (and familiar faces with familiar avatars!) are making me feel cozy, thank you.
Despite being A Change, the new boards are quite pretty, I have to say. Hi, new boards! *pets*

People who changed their names better realize--I'm not going to know who the hell the are for probably ever. At least years.

We fear change.I'm the same. I've always used some form of this name (except with my grown-up email account) since I got on the internets. And I got used to my tribute to John Hughes, so I figured I should keep it. Maybe someday I'll find a new avatar.

Hmmmm. I posted in this thread earlier but got the all too common error message and was too scared to repost incase I doubled up. I was 99% certain I was going to change my name, but my lack of imagination won through in the end. There's still time though, I guess! And I need a new avatar; which is the main thing, really.

Avatar changes are hard enough to cope with.
I'm the same... minus the post count and signature.

And the large front title names but tiny room/index links. it's like everything I want is now super tiny and anything I don't need or should already know (like the title of the thread I'm in) is HUGE. Change is unpleasant so far.
