here's a link for you. I've never done it but it seems pretty easy it'll just take a while! Maybe we should do it at the same time and see how it goes? ha.http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to- ... artt-coat/
The only thing I would say is be careful whats in the wax - cant find ingredients for the filson finish wax.
p.s. if youre a diyer - make your own: http://www.woodcentral.com/cgi-bin/read ... _368.shtml
Oh, post a pic of the coat!
Oh...awesome for the links. Yeah, I read when I was researching caring for the material that you just get a jar of this particular wax designed for this fabric and rub it with a soft cloth just while you're in front of the TV or something. I guess it sorted sounded like polishing and buffing shoes. I know the wax in the coat is supposed to be paraffin, but yeah, not sure what's in the re-wax/upkeep stuff. I figure it's some form or t'other of paraffin. Hopefully there's some ingredient list available somewhere.
Thanks for the help. I will post the coat when I go buy it...hopefully some time later this week.
