My family is omni so I made a very tiny tofurkey. Despite looking horrible, I thought it tasted quite good!

My father tried it and said "It tastes... it tastes like... a side of euuuuguuughhhh."




Well. I tried.

I can't compete with the grossness of that lovely Tofurkey above, but I have another vegan meat: Experimental seitan bacon! The taste came out right but the texture was so, so wrong.

Jeezus! That's put me right off... whatever it is!

So, I've been gone from the ppk for like a year... and I can't believe people are still talking about and reposting the squash photo.

Also, I feel kind of bad for making so many people gag/shudder/stop eating squash and oblong vegetables. Only kind of.

Two summers ago, when I spent my summer in Iowa, there was this one restaurant that served a burger with peanut butter. Everyone raved about it. Those mustards even tried to talk me into trying it.

So anyway, yeah, I guess that's a thing.

I would've cried. I've cried over dropping not particularly beautiful spaghetti, though, so maybe my food emotions are a little sensitive.

Where was this at?

How do you even make potatoes look like that? They look like some sort of slimy meatloaf. I'm not really sure I could have eaten them unless they smelled totally amazing.
