Maybe add [s] [/s] as an option? I tried it many ways and it seems to be a code not supported.

Good point. I wouldn't think so. I was thinking people could end up using it too much and it could become annoying.

when people edit stuff, they could leave the original text but strike it out.

With any option people will find a way to be obnoxious with it.

There is a hint underneath the tag button if you hover over it. There is an example in the new tag playground. I can't make it much simpler.

Thanks for the first two sentences. I don't see why you needed to tack on the third, but whatever. Now I've got it. I just need the hover advice.
