I have time lined up with Silje at Scapegoat again in the new year! I'm getting more hjortron berries to add onto my shoulder piece, and a Twin Peaks tattoo!
I'm also feeling the urge to get something relatively spontaneous, and came up with an idea about two days ago- I want to get an axe that says "Dad". It works on four levels: 1. My dad was a firefighter; 2. My dad chops hella wood; 3. My dad is a full-blooded Swede and axes are pivotal to Viking mythology/history; 4. The Shining is like, my favorite movie ever.
ETA: I noticed today that Jordan and I are on Silje's official online portfolio on the Scapegoat website! CELEBRITIES!!!

 This is my newest. It's from the book Make Way for Ducklings and I love it.  IMAG0058.jpg by carolawesome, on Flickr This is my biggest, most exciting/painful piece. It was based off a bigger idea for a New England themed tattoo.  back tattoo by carolawesome, on Flickr  The heart tattoo is based on a tat my grandfather has and this picture was taken right after it was touched up and recolored. The one under it is a bible verse in Greek from when I was religious.

I have finally made an appointment to get my Velveteen Rabbit half sleeve finished in a couple of weeks! It was an xmas present from my boyfriend since it didn't look like I'd be any less broke anytime soon. I can't wait!

New tattooooo!  The picture was taken right after I took the bandage off and I was going to take a better one now that its healed with a better camera, however, it is a really awkward angle to take a picture at and I'd feel too lamesauce to ask my friends if they could take a picture so I could show it on the internet. It is on my right forearm, so now you can all identify me and give me hugs if you see me. The girl was from a gig poster by Sam McKenzie: http://samsamsamsam.com/ (I got it done without his permission, shhhh) Then the dog was done by my artist at Lotus Island Tattoo in West Vancouver (Chelsea), and the quote is from a famousish piece of graffiti that I just love.

What a fun tattoo, it gives me harriet the spy vibes. I'm working on some idea of an animal tattoo, I can't believe I don't have one already. I want some tuff huge one like a panther or an eagle griping some prey or whatever. It's my treat to myself for staying in my shitty job until I have something better lined up. Hopefully I'll have a picture up in the next couple of weeks!
