Tell me about your tea collection!

I have more tea than I know what to do with. Some loose, but mostly bags. The majority is green.
Out of 30something different options all I ever want to drink is ban cha.
I need to de-stash.

Then I have hundreds of medicinal teas I don't drink any longer.

I'm drinking this right now. It tastes like a Mounds bar!

I need to go buy more tea. I have the Trader Joes seasonal candy cane green, a can of loose rooibos, some loose green tea, and a fruity tea from the farmers market.

I saw that one recently, the coconut chai! It looked great, did you try any of their seasonal blends? I recently got Zocolatte from Teavana, I'm not sure how I like it so far. Do any of you have a Teavana near you? Like it/no?

And I'm forgetting a bunch. That's my current stock as of tonight.

I've had to step back from my tea buying lately but i have cocoa peppermint, moroccan mint green tea, apple chamomile, and a lemongrass mate.

From teavanna:
"To Life" - absolute favorite, Youthberry, Wild Orange blossom, Pineapple Kona

From adagia:
jasmine green, monkey picked oolong, white blueberry, and the remainders of an herbal sampler

random others:
chai, green citrus, cinnamon apple, yerba mate

I think I need to put together another adagio order since it is so much cheaper than my local teavanna. There is a nutella blend that sounds yummy, and I love that there is a Dr. Horrible blend (singing blog optional)

We have so much tea I'm not even sure what we have. My favorites are black, followed by rooibos, white, and then green, usually. I should really drink more loose leaf, since it's such better quality and less wasteful, but I'm not in the habit. Seriously, though, I drink a lot of tea. As in, at least five cups of tea per day. If I'm not drinking tea, I'm probably brewing it, or waiting for the kettle to whistle.

Right now I'm drinking cheap celestial seasonings cinnamon apple tea, which my brother gave me for Christmas. It is warm and comforting.

My current thoughts on tea.

What do you think about the Pineapple Kona? I am going to try that one myself here soon.

My sister sent me a giant assortment of decaf teas for Christmas, which is pretty exciting.

Thanks to doncherryfan's AMAZING swap package, I am now seriously addicted to ginger tea. The stuff she sent me is incredible! I've been drinking it daily. I will never go another day without ginger tea in my life.

I have a bunch of other tea, but I'm a pretty casual tea drinker. I wish I drank more tea.

Its alright, it sounds like you are well on your way to becoming an addict :) What ginger tea did DonCherry send you?

I have: earl grey, breathe easy, rooibos chai (my favorite), nettle, dandelion, chamomile, heartburn soother, peppermint, throat coat; and two teas I don't like that have been sitting there forever: vanilla nut, and orange black tea.

You guys with the ridiculous collections could send me your overflow. Just sayin'.

I ran out of earl grey today and wanted to cry! That is mostly all I drink. I am tea boring.

I have SO much tea! Chai, green tea, rose white tea, lemon and plain yerba mate, blueberry, pomegranate and... I think that's all right now.

I'm a big fan of adagio teas. I'm really like their masala chai right now, with a little bit of sugar and soy milk... oh my goodness.

I would love to try them! I've never heard of them before and now I'm on their site and kind of want to buy half of the shop.

Pineapple Kona makes for a great iced tea in the summer. Sometimes I add a little bit into a plain oolong or green tea to give them some fruity flavor.



adagio's website lets you make your own blends and name them whatever you want. You can search by most popular or names. I was disappointed that nobody made a ppk one yet.

I really want to love tea more. I mean, I love "normal" tea with milk, earl grey and chai but I find that herbal teas are always too ... watery? It doesn't seem to matter how long I brew them for. One time I got peppermint tea and it would have been so perfect if it wasn't so watery and kinda greasy. I don't know if greasy is the right word.

Anyway am I doing something wrong?

I find the trick, Sarah-Jane, is to pour the hot water into the whole box. Only then will your herby fruity minty type 'tea' taste as if it has more than a homeopathic remedy to it.

Sarah Jane, perhaps you could tell me what you would like it to taste like and I could recommend a few? Right now I can tell you that I think Tazo's Apple Red is one of the most amazing teas ever!

God damn it, people. If you like apricot lemon candy cane rooibos, you don't like tea. You like flavored beverages. It's like someone claiming to be a beer lover because they enjoy raspberry lambic. NO. FALSE. INCORRECT. YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT YOUR PREFERENCES.

My tea collection consists of A BOX OF forking PG TIPS.

Because I like TEA.
